On July 25, 2026, Champagne Roger-Constant Lemaire had the pleasure of creating a fully bespoke afternoon for two guests who had come to Champagne to celebrate a particularly meaningful moment in their lives.

For this special occasion, we imagined an experience combining a cruise along the Marne River, champagne tasting, food and wine pairings, personalized bottles and a discovery of our estate.

It was a first for our House, giving us the opportunity to put our expertise and creativity at the service of a story unlike any other.

A Day Designed Around a Unique Story

Some occasions have a special significance.

For these two guests, their visit to Champagne was an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone in their story.

We therefore wanted to offer them much more than a simple champagne tasting: a truly intimate experience for two, thoughtfully designed around their story and their wishes.

Every detail of the afternoon was carefully considered to create an elegant, intimate and welcoming atmosphere, while keeping champagne and the terroir we hold so dear at the heart of the experience.

Because a champagne experience also involves gastronomy, the cruise along the Marne was accompanied by a tasting featuring carefully selected food and wine pairings.

The goal was simple: to take the time.
Time to enjoy, to talk, to discover and to celebrate.

Our cuvées were paired with carefully selected dishes to create a complete sensory experience and highlight the different expressions of our champagnes.

For us, tasting is about much more than discovering a wine in a glass. It is also about sharing, curiosity and conviviality.

And when it becomes part of a bespoke event, it turns into a truly memorable journey of discovery.

Personalized Bottles to Tell Their Story

We also wanted this day to leave a lasting mark, far beyond the memories themselves.

For the occasion, we created personalized back labels, featuring several important dates from the couple’s story.

A subtle detail, yet one filled with meaning: each bottle thus becomes a keepsake of their journey and of the moments that have shaped their story.

From the boat to the bottles, we paid particular attention to the overall atmosphere of the event.

The décor was designed with a chic, refined and elegant aesthetic, creating a sophisticated setting without ever taking away from what truly mattered: the moment shared together.

After their escape along the Marne, our guests returned to shore to continue their discovery at Champagne Roger-Constant Lemaire.

A visit to our estate was an essential part of the experience. After discovering our champagnes in such a privileged setting, it felt natural to introduce them to the House behind the wines they had enjoyed.

This final stage allowed us to create a connection between the experience, the wine and the expertise of Champagne.

This day held a special significance for our House: it was the first time we had organized an event of this kind.
